GEOFFREY AT HOME ON LITTLE HAWK LAKE

Geoffrey was born in Lockport, NY, on January 17, 1943, and raised in Penfield, NY. He graduated from Penfield High School, attended Ithaca College, as well as Syracuse University, and eventually enlisted in the United States Army.

In 1965, he followed his brother Pete to California and became an actor. Geoff is best known for playing ‘Billy the Kid’ in the John Wayne movie, “Chisum,” and he appeared in numerous TV movies and productions including “The Name of the Game” with his brother Pete.

Geoff then graduated from the University of South Florida with a BA in International Studies and a Masters in Education; he taught history in St. Petersburg, FL.

Geoffrey touched the lives of many people with his kindness and his love of nature and animals. He loved to visit the family cottage at Little Hawk Lake in Northern Canada and enjoy the outdoors every summer.

Geoffrey Deuel, 81, gently passed away on December 22, 2024, after a long battle with COPD. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline, whom he met in St. Petersburg, FL, more than 40 years ago, and married in Sydney, Australia. He also leaves behind his sister, Pamela Hunt (John), and many cousins. Geoff is predeceased by his brother, the late actor Peter Deuel, and his niece Jennifer Seymour.
